In the footsteps of poachers
Only German spoken
Färdi tells funny and entertaining anecdotes about how the poachers outwit the hunting wardens. At the Poaching Memorial Stone you will learn that tragedies also took place in the Liechtenstein mountains.
A scenic walking tour with a focus on narratives
What Färdi knows how to report is a gripping experience. Also because Färdi welcomes and leads the guests in his poacher outfit: black sooty face, the poacher’s rifle slung around his neck and grandfather’s backpack on his back. He considers the guests to be his apprentices and is constantly trying to teach them the poacher craft.
Ferdinand Sele lived from 1829 to 1920. His life is well documented. Especially because the incidents resulting in death during poaching are documented in detail in court files.
